| How To Customize Your MySpace URL:

Every MySpace is given a long URL (website address) when it is first created. Sometimes these URLs are very long and annoying to type, so we therefore want to shorten our URL to something like "http://www.myspace.com/mypage".
Before continuing, make sure you are logged into your MySpace account.
1. While in your account's control panel page, click the Edit Profile link next to your picture.
2. In the 'Edit Profile' page click the "Name" link.
3. On the new page, click the EDIT button next to 'Username/IM Name:'.
4. On the new page, simply enter the name you wish to use after "http://www.myspace.com/". For example, if you chose 'baseballfan', your MySpace URL would then be "http://www.myspace.com/baseballfan". Be warned, however, that whatever you choose as your shortened name cannot be changed in the future.
5. Save the settings and confirm the changes.
Congratulations! You can now give out your shortened MySpace profile URL to your friends.
